Party Pills. You’ve all heard of them time and time again, but do you really know what they are and how they take effect on your body?

Party Pills are also globally known as “Herbal Highs”, “Pep Pills” or “Dance Pills.” The general idea of the pill is to provide you with extra energy to keep you awake, and energized for a longer period of time.

Tell Me More About The Pills

Party pills are often based on two ingredients, BZP (benzylpiperazine) and TFMPP (triflouro-methyl-phenylpiperazine), combined with other chemicals such as piper nigrum, phenylalanine, tryptophan and tyrosine.  [Please note: we do not yet know what is in the new "BZP free" pills currently being sold - as soon as we know, we will update this page]

Party pills are designed to mimic the effects of illegal drugs such as methamphetamine (speed, P), MDMA (ecstasy) and LSD (acid, trips), although without the addictive qualities and known negative health risks of illegal drugs.

On the first of April 2008, the New Zealand government banned two of the main substances used to create party pills, therefore putting a halt on the market. The penalties involved with the procession of party pills since the ban are on the same level as those involved with the possession of cannabis. As a result, many critics believe this will result in handing back power to organized crime, as young people will revert to the illegal drug MDMA, otherwise known as ecstasy. Critics claim the two most damaging drugs in terms of self harm, alcohol and tobacco, are still legal because it is engrained too deep in society to ban.

Common Effects Of Taking The Pills

High School Musical star Zac Efron refuses to shower, even after playing a gruelling game of basketball. An insider on the set of High School Musical 3 told America’s Star magazine: “Zac isn’t a big fan of showering. It’s so gross, because Zac loves to work out and plays basketball all the time - and then goes days without showering.”

Apparently Zac relies on wet wipes (baby wipes) when he feels the need for a wash. Not so much of a heart-throb now is he ladies?

I feel the tag-line “next generation gamer” is far past its use by date, instead I now prefer the tag “current generation gamer” for those adopting a new console such as the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, or Nintendo Wii.
This Christmas I picked up an Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 is one console I’ve had my [...]

It doesn’t happen very often lately that I watch a movie and say out loud “This is genius!”. Kung Fu Hustle is one of these movies. It’s not the hilariously crazy humor, it’s not the mind-bending (and quite unrealistic) action scenes, it’s the combination of the two.
Sing, the protagonist, is essentially a good man. He [...]

Set times & plan your day
Not many people are going to work well without some structure. Waking up in the morning without any sense of direction for what needs to be done, or what you’re going to do that day is a recipe for disaster.
Start scheduling or setting daily milestones. If you don’t work best [...]

Tell me, what’s the world with no soul?
I used to think there was nothing of interest in New Zealand except for sheep and flightless birds. Fat Freddy’s Drop changed my mind. The 7-piece band from Christchurch, and what they call their genre, “Hi-Tek-Soul-Groove Music”, is exactly what the world has been waiting for. Their most [...]
